I frequent this location often due to my job. Regarding the front desk staff I find them friendly, flexible and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Housekeeping and maintenance are outstanding. The food is delectable! Management team seems to be running a successful hotel.

Worst Hotel - Cut My AC Off On Wedding Night as the Bride

I would give this hotel a -100000 if I could. Such disrespect and all around the worst hotel you could stay out. I chose this hotel for my wedding and I am embarrassed. All of my guests had complaints about their rooms and that their room was not clean and looked like someone had slept in the room with no cleaning. I was told I could have my after party at the hotel and then when we got there the bartender flicked off my guests (photo attached), and told us unless the after party was in my contract they were calling the cops. The cops came and said they were on my side and apologized ( I was the bride and they sent me to tears on my wedding night). They told me to bring the guests to my room or they’d press charges and arrest me. I brought the party to my room and they then shut my ac off. Myself and my dad called down and they told me sorry but the mechanic isn’t in until 8am there’s nothing we can do. My friends got double charged for their room ( I did too) and the manager said they would refund one but do nothing for us as they weren’t fans of our party either - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE LMAO. I plan on putting up a review to warn all brides to RUN from this hotel. They deleted my guests reviews so I will repost this every day until I die as this ruined my wedding. Be warned!!!! PS if you give thank you bags they don’t give them out and keep them! Weird!!

I checked in but saw some illegal activity and asked for a refund so I could go elsewhere. When I spoke to the manager he basically said too bad, you already paid us, no one else saw it, you will be responsible for the bill. I went to another Hilton in the area which I knew was excellent and safe. So I ended up paying for two rooms for one night. If you want a good night's sleep where you don't have to worry about your safety, avoid this place. As far as upkeep, all it takes is a look at the carpets in the halls, this place is filthy. So many better hotels in the area such as Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook or Marriott Courtyard in Islip. Avoid at HGI in Islip / Ronkonkoma location as it's not worth taking a chance with your safety. This place is a poor representation of the HGI brand.

Good hotel with very good breakfast offerings. Their pantry is packed with many items - one of the best pantries out there. I am a lifetime Diamond and I have seem them all. The front desk staff is hospitable and experienced. Management personnel are available to resolve any issues with rates, amenities, or any other problem.

The rooms have been well used, but the bed was great and the room super clean. Breakfast is the same you get at any Garden Inn, but this one did not have the amount of servers needed, so it was help yourself. Location was great for McArthur Airport or 495 just north or Sunrise Highway just south. Very safe area to stay the night in and a lot of fast food joints around.
